Print media technologist (m/f/d)

As a media technologist you will prepare ink formulations and control processes on complex, state-of-the-art machines, and will be responsible for the quality and visual appearance of the end product.

Training to become a print media technologist

The media technologist ensures a result whose colour and quality are perfect. You will give the product its finishing touches with precision, state-of-the-art finishing techniques and the right know-how.

Your discipline as a media technologist is handling big, very modern printing machines. You will check print data, install printing plates and prepare printing tools. You will have an eye for colours and accurate results.

The ever-increasing demand for multicolour printed and finished corrugated board will constantly broaden your spectrum of knowledge as a media technologist.

You will bring good qualifications with you if you have an interest in technology, an eye for details, a liking for multi-layered work processes and a faultless ability to distinguish different colours.

Do you like undertaking responsibility, and is accuracy one of your character traits? Then you are suitable for this trained profession.

An attractive multi-shift working system allows an advantageous combination of leisure and profession. You should be willing to do shift work based on an economic utilisation of the capacity of the machines.

The three-year period of training will take place in a Panther plant and in the respective vocational college.
